Effective: March 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of edtribune.com and its state-specific subdomains (the "Service"), operated by EdTribune ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
The Service is available to United States residents who are at least 13 years old. The Service is not available to individuals located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. We may use your email address to contact you for comment on stories about your district or school, and to send you surveys about education topics.
Content
All articles, analysis, and other content published on the Service are the property of EdTribune. Our reporting is based on public data files released by state departments of education. You may share links to our articles, but you may not reproduce or republish our content without written permission.
Surveys
By using the Service, you agree that we may email you surveys related to education topics. Participation in surveys is voluntary. Aggregated, anonymized survey results may be shared with or sold to third parties. Individual responses are never sold or shared in a way that identifies you.
Advertising
The Service displays third-party advertisements. Advertising partners may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve relevant ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. EdTribune is not a substitute for professional educational, legal, or financial advice. While we verify every number against official state data, we do not guarantee that our analysis is error-free.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your own account at any time from your profile page.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdTribune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
